Sometimes we feel sad about situations, outcomes, bad news, losing a loved one or just life itself. When you are overcome by the cares of this world, you must recall what God says.
Joshua 1:9
Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee withersoever thou goest.
Revelation 21:4
And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
II Timothy 2:1
Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.
Matthew 5:4
Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.
Romans 8:18
For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
These are just a few scriptures that lifted my bowed down head. I have learned when life seems unfair and uncooperative, that is the time to embrace the precious gift of your salvation. To just climb up in the Father’s arms and spend time in HIS presence. Listen to word of God that will guide, encourage, strengthen, and bring joy and peace in these times of sadness.
