Mark 4:3-9
This is a message to all of God’s “Spiritual Sowers” – those who teach, preach, and lead others. Often times leaders are discouraged because of the lack of growth that isn’t visible in those they impart to. Remember, God is responsible for the productivity in man!
Consider the parable of the sower who sowed seed among many different types of soil. Seed fell by the wayside, among thorns and stones, and on good ground. The return of yield varied depending upon the type of ground it was captivated in. Nevertheless, all the seeds sprouted!
Be encouraged that all the seeds did produce a plant. It is then up to the person to nurture and protect that plant so God can give the increase. So don’t become discouraged as you faithfully teach the Word of God. Pray, be patient, and wait on God to produce and complete the work that HE has started.
Pray against the outside forces that are working against God’s people, keeping them from seeing, hearing, and obeying His Word. Continue to plant seeds (word of God), water (with grace and compassion) and let God give the increase (anointing and power of the Holy Ghost) that will empower the saints of God!
