"As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man, so are children of the youth", Psalm 127:4
Here at Harvest Plenty House of Prayer, we believe our youth are not just the future; but are the right now too! Our youth here are respectful, courteous and dedicated to reaching people through learning God's Word, singing, praying, drama and dance. It is through these mediums that God's word is communicated while the kids enjoy themselves at the same time.
Some of the things our youth participate in are Sunday School and Morning Worship, Wednesday night Bible Study, Summer Camp, Vacation Bible School, Church lock-ins, community parades, local church fellowships, and youth fundraisers. During Morning Worship, each 3rd Sunday, our youth conduct the service beginning with Praise & Worship, reading scriptures, opening prayer, ushering and offertory service. We teach our youth how to behave as well as being a vital part of the service allowing them to reveal their God-given gifts and talents.
We are patiently waiting for God to bless us with a Youth Pastor so the youth can worship, study, learn, and fellowship with kids of all ages during a Morning Worship service designed and orchestrated by them. As Mark 11:24 says, "Therefore I say unto you, what things ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them". We desire a Youth Pastor and we thank God in advance for answering our prayer! Youth Ministry meets each 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month at 10:00 a.m. Your child(ren) are welcome to join us!
